I don´t think that anybody is seriouslyusing a pegleg still today. But if used as kind of a "fashion accessory" I find it sometimes nice to look at.

It depends I suggest. Amputation level, health condition, daily activities. I'm not sure that peg-leg is everyday suitable for AK amputation. 8)

Really? This is interesting! But then your pegleg does have a knee joint which you can bend when you sit down? Otherwise the stiff leg would be more of a burden then a help, right?

Interesting! I haven´t seen anyone wearing a peg-leg in ages! Neither here in Europe, nor in Asia, Africa or North America. You obviously like it, right? What are the benefits compared to a "proper prosthesis"?

mostly weight, and it's more compact then usual protheses. I have both. But I prefer peg-leg for everyday usage and conventional proth for long distance trips and so on
