The best leg prosthesis is the good old peg leg ! Peg legs are cheap, light, reliable and even exciting ones - but they are difficult to obtain, at least in Occidental countries.

Having a good socket that fits you can always make yourself a peg leg. I see no problems.

In general, the procedure is risky and a bit scary, I read somewhere that there was still fluid seeping from between the implant and the skin, and there were cases of bone infections requiring many months of painful treatment (if my memory is correct, then the beautiful ladies Gemma T. or Genelle de P.).

It gave me shivers down my back - if I had wanted to use the stump as intended, I would have hurt myself. From the caressing instrument, a torture instrument is made.
